Thorlo Socks

We have had much discussion about Thorlos on our Sunday Morning program.

Thorlos make the best socks in the world but unfortunately they are very expensive in Australia - about AUD $37.50 per pair and difficult to get.

Look at the Thorlo web site carefully and decide which style and size is for you.

I buy mine in bulk (6 pairs) on eBay US for about $30 USD plus postage.

Caveat emptor - buyer beware for anything bought on eBay.

The US supplier I have used is "rattus". He ships to Australia. Message him for a price on postage etc.

How to find eBay supplier "rattus"

1. Go to eBay US
2. At the top right corner of the home page, click on "Advanced Search"
3. In the box "Enter keyword or item number" enter "thorlo" without the ""
4. In the box "From specific sellers " enter "rattus" without the ""
5. Search

The main problem with other sellers is that they often will not ship to Australia. Always check with the seller as to his shipping policy and postage cost to Australia.

How to find other US suppliers on eBay Australia

1. Go to eBay AU
2. Type "thorlo" in the search box. This will produce reults for some Australian sellers - usually expensive.
3. At the left side of the screen you will see "Search Options"
4. Select the box "Worlwide" and search again. This will produce results for US sellers who are prepared to ship to Australia. But check shipping costs first by a message to the seller.
